One Gallery, in partnership with Megaworld Corporation, is staging “Hope, Faith, Unity,” an art exhibition that seeks to sustain and support local community artists in cushioning the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The exhibit, which will run from October 27 to November 27, 2020, at Eastwood Mall in Eastwood City, will feature works from 10 local artists to show how humanity and vulnerability could serve as a fundamental source of strength during challenging times.
Featured artists for “Hope, Faith, Unity” include Raymond Cruz, Dennis De Jesus, Renante Dublois, Fil Dumalo III, Mark Kenneth Garcia, Gieward Hulagno, Celeste Lecaroz, Joelito Pagalan, Fernando Ramos Jr. and Jovel Ruivivar.
The local art industry was among the hardest hit during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. There has been a decline in art commissions and sales, as well as the cancellation of several shows and exhibits due to restrictions in social gatherings and closure of museums and galleries.

More than showcasing art’s potential in being a beacon of inspiration, “Hope, Faith, Unity” aims to provide the featured artists with an opportunity to sell their artworks for the benefit of their co-artists who were greatly impacted by the pandemic.
The exhibition is in line with Megaworld’s longstanding commitment to making art accessible to the public by providing venues for artistic showcase in its townships. In a bid to sustain the partnership it has built with the art community, Megaworld aims to help local artists bounce back from the impacts of the pandemic in partnership with One Gallery

One Gallery and Megaworld will open the exhibition with a media launch on Oct. 27, 3:00 pm. The exhibition will run from Oct. 27 to Nov. 27 at Eastwood Mall. Interested buyers may coordinate with One Gallery staff stationed at the exhibit area.
