Megaworld Lifestyle Malls and over 300 of its restaurant partners have joined hands for the roll out of a new initiative aimed at reviving the country’s economy while helping frontliners serving the public and battling the COVID-19 pandemic.
Running from October 30 to December 31, 2020, the Eat Out and Help Out campaign latches on to the Filipino ‘bayanihan’ and the Holiday spirit of giving with the main goal of encouraging dining patrons to support and help local businesses recover from the economic toll of the pandemic.
Through the initiative, dining customers can help their fellow Filipinos, especially those in the restaurant and food and beverage industries, keep their jobs and get back on their feet in time for the Holiday season.
The campaign also enables diners to lend a helping hand and provide delightful meals to the country’s modern-day heroes at the frontlines leading the battle against the pandemic by dining in at their favorite food joints and restaurants at Megaworld Lifestyle Malls.
For every P1,000 spend at participating restaurants, Megaworld Lifestyle Malls will be donating a hearty meal to a frontliner on behalf of the dining customer. The meals will be distributed to partner hospitals, medical institutions and local government units including Taguig Pateros District Hospital, Pasay City General Hospital, Ospital ng Makati, Quezon City General Hospital, Justice Jose Abad Santos Hospital, Ospital ng Binan, Western Visayas Medical Center and Municipality of Laurel, Batangas.
