While some things might look entirely different, dining out will always be an irresistible and irreplaceable experience, especially during the most wonderful time of the year.
Looking to encourage diners to rediscover the unparalleled joys of enjoying a hearty meal prepared meticulously and basking in the unique ambiance that only restaurants can offer, Megaworld Lifestyle Malls has partnered with some of the country’s seasoned restaurateurs in intensifying dining safety protocols to assure customers a safe dining experience this Holiday season.
In a new campaign video, Megaworld Lifestyle Malls along with its dining partners such as Raymund Magdaluyo of the Red Crab Group, Eric Dee of Foodee Global Concepts and Jean Paul Manuud of Bistro Group outlined how dining at the malls can be both a pleasurable and safe experience, whether alfresco or indoor.
From socially-distanced dining, reduced seating capacity, mandatory temperature checks and disinfection, to new modifications such as plastic barriers on tables and QR-activated menu and health checklists, the new video details how restaurants are safeguarding the customers while they enjoy good food and the company of their friends or loved ones.
“Ensuring the safety of customers, is something we unequivocally share with our dining partners ever since we reopened and together, we have joined hands to create a safe and enjoyable environment for dining guests, whether in our alfresco areas or inside the restaurant,” says Graham Coates, head of Megaworld Lifestyle Malls.
The video also takes audiences deep into the heart of restaurants’ efforts to ensure that proper hygiene and sanitation are observed and followed beyond the dining area.
“In the restaurant business, the reality is you cannot talk about good service or good food without understanding safety. What’s more important is the things that the customers don’t see. The things that you do when the customers aren’t looking…,” says Raymund Magdaluyo, president, Red Crab Group.
In the new video, which can be viewed through Megaworld Lifestyle TV on YouTube and via the Megaworld Lifestyle Malls Facebook page, the top honchos of some of the country’s biggest dining chains and brands expressed optimism about the dining scene going back to normalcy.
“I like to go back to the normal of having joy, having joy in the restaurants, sitting, [while being] served with smiling people on the frontliners,” says Jean Paul Manuud, president, Bistro Group.
They also called on and appealed to the Filipino public to continue supporting local restaurants as a way of helping them recover and uplifting the livelihood of their employees.
“Let’s eat out again. Let’s dine out, but if we’re gonna dine out, let’s do it safe,” says Eric Dee, president of Foodee Global Concepts.
“Have a cup of coffee, have a steak, have a burger outside. Help us recover – we need all your help – all the customers’ help, all the diners’ help,” adds Magdaluyo.
