In a move aimed at increasing access to life-saving medicines in the Philippines, STADA Philippines Inc. has announced a strategic partnership with Sandoz Philippines Corporation focused on the commercialization of Sandoz legacy brands in anti-infectives and cardiology. This collaboration aims to enhance healthcare access and expand the delivery of quality medicines to Filipino patients nationwide.
The partnership will see STADA Philippines Inc. take over the full commercialization of several key legacy brands from Sandoz, including established medicines: Cefuroxime Axetil (ZINNAT), Amlodipine Besylate (AMBESYL), and Rosuvastatin (ROBESTAR). Starting May 1, 2025, STADA will manage the promotions, selling, and distribution of these products, leveraging its expanding market presence since it entered the market in 2019.
This initiative underscores STADA’s commitment to improving healthcare access and providing quality medicines for Filipino patients. By pooling resources and expertise, STADA and Sandoz aim to address the growing demand for high-quality, accessible medicines in the Philippines, ensuring that more patients can benefit from essential healthcare services.
The partnership is also focused on improving service in the healthcare sector. STADA’s long-standing heritage as a company founded by pharmacists 130 years ago and its reputation as a reliable partner, combined with global leadership of Sandoz in developing, producing, and supplying generics and biosimilars, will create synergies that promise to deliver better health outcomes for patients.
