Sony Philippines to hold wedding photography and videography masterclass in Cebu City

Sony uplifts the wedding photography and videography industry through an in-person masterclass for portrait, lighting, and cinematic wedding video.

The masterclass is free and open to Sony and non-Sony users. It is set to take place at the 11th Floor of BLOQ Residences Sikatuna, Sikatuna St., Cebu from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM on July 29 and 30. An identical set up will be mounted for two days so participants may choose one (1) schedule to book their preferred slot at: https://bit.ly/3Pwimpq.

Featuring acclaimed Filipino portrait and wedding photographer and Sony Alpha Ambassador Jiggie Alejandrino and wedding filmmaker and Sony Guru Sherard Yu, Sony’s Wedding Masterclass aims to help audiences enhance their photography and videography skills through an intensive discussion and practical workshop for portrait, lighting, and cinematic wedding film.

Considered among the most influential and reputable lighting specialists in the Philippines, Alejandrino, is set to share a detailed guide on how to capture the most picturesque shots before, during, and after the ceremony, as well as practical tips on manipulating ambient and artificial light with Sony’s A7 IV and his go-to G Master lenses.

Likewise, Yu is set to take audiences through his step-by-step process to create a cinematic wedding film, including how to prepare for the SDE and what moments and angles to capture throughout the entire occasion with Sony’s A7 IV and his go-to G Master lenses.

Speaking on his excitement about being part of the wedding masterclass, Alejandrino, a well-attended photography workshop instructor himself, shares. “This workshop caters more to practical learning than theoretical. A little cautious on the return to live events post pandemic, but also raring to go!”

“I’m very honored to be a part of the masterclass and for the opportunity to share my knowledge with new and old faces,” he adds.

Sony’s Wedding Masterclass for Hybrid Photographers is made possible in collaboration with BLOQ Residences, Kultura Filipino, MQ Group, Nanlite Philippines, and Zhiyun-Tech Philippines.
