RED CROSS QC GETS NEW BUILDING FROM CITY GOVERNMENT

A new building for the Philippine Red Cross Quezon City Chapter was recently inaugurated as the humanitarian organization celebrates its 77the founding anniversary. Construction of the new building was funded by the local government of Quezon City. The city government turned over a fully-furnished three-storey building to the Philippine Red Cross Quezon City Chapter.  Located inside the compound of the Quezon City Hall, the building has Blood Center, a command center and ample space for training of Red Cross volunteers. PRCQC Chapter is one of the oldest branches of the Red Cross in the country. A marker was also unveiled.

After the inauguration and blessing, 5,000 new Red Cross 143 volunteers participated in a mass oath-taking at the Liwasang Aurora, Quezon Memorial Circle.
