McDONALD’S LAUNCHES WAVE 3 OF “NIGHT CLASSROOM” FOR STUDENTS NATIONWIDE

Students nationwide can rejoice, as the fast food chain announced the return of McDonald’s Night Classroom, where party areas are transformed into late night study hubs where students and teachers can study and do homework while enjoying exclusive perks and McDonald’s favorites via the McDonald’s App!

“In the summer heat, we know how hard it is to concentrate when you’re not comfortable,” says Meryl Adiel T. Hernandez, Assistant Vice President Corporate Relations and Impact Golden Arches Development Corporation. Hernandez explained that the McDonald’s Night Classroom was conceived to meet the challenge of students seeking a good after-school spot review space: “As McDonald’s continues to grow and reach more customers nationwide, we recognize an even bigger responsibility to address the needs of the community, including students who’ve always frequented our stores — whether it’s for a quick snack or an all-nighter study session. McDonald’s Night Classroom is one of the ways we support students and young professionals by providing a safe space that allows them to focus on working for their future.”

McDonald’s Night Classroom Wave 3 is the biggest yet, with 107 participating branches across the Philippines. From 8pm-4am on April 15-May 31, students can enjoy dedicated study areas featuring wide tables, ample lighting, and gadget charging ports. At the same time, free unlimited wi-fi that allows them to do their online projects and research. To sweeten the deal, students who register will receive a FREE 16oz Coke McFloat for every purchase of a McDonald’s Night Classroom product offer via the McDo App.

Excitement for Wave 3 spread quickly, with students responding to the announcement by tagging their friends, such as Polytechnic University of the Philippines’ Kim Esteban, who named two schoolmates, while Sybel Sean Subaldo of Negros Occidental, tagged three friends with the call, “Siri ta tuon parasi” (Let’s go here!).

Other netizens also praised McDonald’s for the thinking behind the Night Classroom, with Kim Dy of Camarines Sur calling the idea, “Genius”, while Bulacan’s Flerida Grantoza cheered, “Good job!”
