Almost 200 students under the ICCP Group Foundation, Inc. (IGFI) Tulong Pambaon Project successfully completed School Year 2025-26, with many earning academic recognition and others achieving perfect attendance.
The achievement was made possible through the participation of ICCP Group employee-sponsors, with feedback from teachers, parents, and beneficiaries indicating improved attendance and more consistent school participation.
The milestone reflects the continued impact of an employee-driven education initiative that has helped expand access to basic schooling for underprivileged children.
Since its launch in 2012 with just four beneficiaries, the program has grown to assist hundreds of Grade 5 and Grade 6 students over several school years, reaching an estimated 1,200 students over its implementation history.
The Tulong Pambaon Project operates in adopted communities and partner public schools in selected barangays in Pampanga, Cebu, Batangas, and Cagayan de Oro, in coordination with local schools and community partners.
Launched under the banner “P25 for a Cause,” the initiative allows ICCP Group employees to contribute ₱25 per day, which is pooled to provide daily school allowance assistance for beneficiary students. The assistance helps cover transportation and meal expenses, which are among the most common barriers to regular school attendance.
According to IGFI Executive Director Ronnie Tapnio, the initiative demonstrates how consistent participation from employees can translate into sustained educational support.
“From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much, ICCP Group Family,” Tapnio said. “Many of these children would have struggled to regularly attend school and complete their education without this assistance.”
The initiative is a testament to the ICCP Group’s strong culture of corporate social responsibility – one that extends beyond its host communities and is deeply embedded in its people. It embodies the organization’s commitment to fostering a spirit of generosity, compassion, and service, empowering employees to share their blessings and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
