Hotel Lucky Chinatown aims to achieve more goals as it turns ‘5’

Hotel Lucky Chinatown remains the premier hub in Binondo catering to travelers from near and far places in the country’s capital who are looking for comfortable rest and sleep after attending to their personal commitments and businesses.

This year, the hotel is bent not only in providing an extraordinary experience to guests, local and foreign tourists alike, but also partnering with the community through its corporate social responsibility arm’s projects. The goal is a testament to the hotel’s unwavering support to the local government in maintaining a productive society.

According to General Manager Jeremy Russell Go, it has always been part of their endeavor to contribute to the welfare of people, more so to areas in and around the vicinity of the establishment that sits in the heart of Manila’s bustling commercial district.

The hotel also looks after the welfare of persons with disabilities, senior citizens and the less fortunate individuals. In fact, students of the Philippine Institute for the Deaf (PID) took part in the hotel’s Christmas Tree Lighting event held last November.

PR and Marketing Officer Joshua Yasay, on the other hand, shared how Hotel Lucky Chinatown came up with the idea of helping deaf students of PID.

“We partnered with Philippine Institute for the Deaf by donating to them used bar soaps and then they made it into new soaps again. The profit they gained from it is being used to fund their educational needs,” narrated Joshua. “This year, our goal is to widen our CSR activity and partnering with Congressman Joel Chua will make it possible for us to reach other areas here (in Manila).”

This year, Hotel Lucky Chinatown is eyeing to hold more projects in the community through partnering with Manila LGU. Joshua revealed that they are still discussing with the congressman the possible activities that will mostly benefit residents of Manila apart from partnering with officials of Barangay 293 wherein the hotel stands tall.

“We wish to help certain groups like senior citizens as part of our CSR (corporate social responsibility) activities,” said Jeremy.

Jeremy looks forward to the day when Hotel Lucky Chinatown dominates Binondo “when looking for a hotel, it will be Hotel Lucky Chinatown is on top of their mind.

“If you look back five years ago, you’ll see who were the people who supported us. It’s the public, OFWs, and the local government. So, I just want this milestone, of marking our fifth anniversary, dedicated to them. Our hotel rate is a true testament of value for money,” furthered Jeremy.
