Security Bank, VeritasPay expand digital payment solutions for MSMEs

Security Bank Corporation (PSE:SECB) has partnered with VeritasPay Philippines Inc. to expand access to modern point-of-sale (POS) payment solutions for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across the Philippines

As more consumers shift toward card and QR payments, reliable payment acceptance is becoming increasingly important for small businesses. Through this partnership, Security Bank’s MSME clients can access VeritasPay’s secure POS terminals at preferential rates through the Bank’s referral program, making digital payment acceptance more accessible and affordable.

VeritasPay’s POS platform includes an intuitive merchant dashboard that provides real-time visibility of transactions and simplifies daily payment reconciliation, helping business owners manage collections and monitor cash flow more efficiently.

The collaboration forms part of Security Bank’s Beyond Banking Partnership program, an initiative of the Bank’s Business Banking Segment (BBS) that expands support for MSMEs through practical solutions and strategic partnerships that go beyond traditional financing.

“MSMEs need simple and reliable ways to accept digital payments as customer behavior continues to evolve,” said John David Yap, Security Bank EVP and BBS Head. “Through our partnership with VeritasPay, we are helping our clients adopt modern payment solutions that allow them to serve customers better and operate more efficiently.”

VeritasPay’s President and CEO Christopher Payne said the partnership brings together VeritasPay’s payment technology and Security Bank’s strong MSME network to support more Filipino businesses.

“Today marks an exciting milestone as we officially formalize our partnership with Security Bank, built on hard work and a shared vision. We are honored to empower their merchants with seamless credit, debit, and QR payment solutions through our innovative POS technology. Together, we believe merchants deserve not only advanced solutions, but exceptional service that truly supports their growth. This is the beginning of a strong, long-term collaboration that will create meaningful impact and lasting value,” said Payne.

The partnership reflects Security Bank’s continued commitment to empowering Filipino entrepreneurs with practical tools that support business growth and operational efficiency.

“Beyond financing, businesses today need tools that help them manage everyday operations,” said Lex Cimagala, Security Bank FVP and Customer Value Proposition Head. “By connecting our clients to VeritasPay’s POS solutions, we’re helping them streamline collections, improve cash flow visibility, and operate more efficiently.”

Security Bank’s BusinessPlus accountholders may avail of exclusive discounts on VeritasPay POS terminals, including 5% for one-time outright purchases and 10% for monthly leasing options on eligible devices.
