SAFC expands access to financing in Northern Mindanao with 4 new branches

SAFC officially opened four new branches in Northern Mindanao, marking the third quarter with continued network expansion and bringing its business and consumer loan solutions closer to communities across the region.

The newly opened branches are located in Iligan City, Lanao del Norte; Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental; Malaybalay City, Bukidnon; and Valencia City, Bukidnon.

The expansion comes amid sustained economic activity across Northern Mindanao. In 2025, the Philippine Statistics Authority reported that the region’s economy grew by 4.9%—a sign of emerging opportunities across the region.

“Our commitment is to be closer to more communities and businesses. These new SAFC branches in Northern Mindanao strengthen our ability to understand our customers’ needs and provide financing solutions that help turn their ambitions into reality,” SAFC President and CEO Maricel D. Dejongoy said.

Vehicle owners, transport operators, entrepreneurs, and families in Northern Mindanao can access SAFC’s financing solutions through the new branches. These include brand-new and second-hand car and truck financing, Sangla OR/CR, and BiyaHERO Loan for vehicle owners and transport operators; JUANAsenso Loan for women entrepreneurs; and Sangla Titulo and JuanTahanan Loan for property-related financing needs.

The four new locations are part of the eight new branches SAFC opened during the same quarter. The remaining four are in Antipolo City, Rizal; San Jose, Occidental Mindoro; and Paniqui and Capas, Tarlac. With these openings, SAFC’s network now totals over 100 branches nationwide.

Dejongoy added that SAFC will carry its expansion into the coming year. “Every new branch brings us closer to the communities that need accessible financing the most. As we continue to grow, our focus remains on making financing easier for every Filipino we serve and helping them build better futures for their families, livelihoods, and businesses,” she said.
