Golden Bay Prime has reached a significant construction milestone, with Garden City on track for a successful turnover

Garden City by Golden Bay Prime Landholdings gallops into the New Year by starting its active construction phase on its award-winning mixed-use project in Bacoor, Cavite.

Following the Ground Zero demolition of the former Sales Pavilion at the end of January 2026, the Garden City site has now been fully cleared and readied for development. This critical milestone advances the transformation of the prime Bacoor property into the future Garden City community, with site clearing and piling works now progressing in preparation for full-scale structural construction.

Golden Bay Prime has confirmed that the construction package for Phase 1 of Garden City—covering the structural, architectural, and MEPF works for the main podium and Residential Towers Ipil Ipil, Yakal, and Molave—remains on track for award by early April 2026, reinforcing the project’s momentum toward full-scale construction. Once final documentation is completed, the project’s official Day 1 of structural construction is targeted for mid-April 2026. This significant milestone will be commemorated through a strategic partnership ceremony with key stakeholders, partners, and project leaders.

With construction in full swing at Garden City, Golden Bay Prime’s in-house engineering team remains firmly committed to safety, quality, and sustainability above all else. “We’re taking no shortcuts—it’s all hard work from our team backed by industry expertise,” shared Jardin Wong, Chief Operating Officer of Golden Bay Prime.

In terms of engineering metrics, the foundation reaches depths of approximately 18–22 meters, providing robust structural support for the mixed-use development. Additionally, the site’s overall elevation is about 1.7 meters above the adjacent road level, enhancing the project’s resilience against flooding.

“We are committed to delivering the very best for our residents because this is more than just an investment for them. For some, it is their first home; for others, it is their forever home. They have entrusted us with the space where their lives will unfold, and we are working diligently to live up to that trust. Our team is prioritizing structural integrity and top-quality construction for Garden City—we are building something our residents can truly be proud of,” shared Jardin Wong.

Even before construction began, Garden City had already garnered recognition from London’s OPAL Awards, LamudiPhilippines’s The Outlook, and the Dot Property Group Awards for its sustainable design and striking architecture, masterplanned by locally based international design firm WTA Architecture and Design Studio. Future residents will enjoy more than 15 world-class amenities designed to prioritize their wellness, shared Wong.

Golden Bay Prime, the developer behind the renowned Aspire Corporate Plaza in Pasay City, brings the same expertise and commitment to Garden City, giving future residents confidence that their investment is in capable hands. As part of this effort, a flagship Experience Center has been opened inside Aspire to replace the former on-site showroom in Bacoor. The Experience Center offers a modern and immersive venue, welcoming everyone—especially those interested in exploring what Garden City has to offer.

Golden Bay Prime is on track to turn over the first batch of units as early as the last quarter of 2028 through the second quarter of 2029.
