FWD Philippines ranks #1 life insurer in Q1 2026

Maintains strong number one position in single premium and jumps to number two in total premium

FWD Life Insurance (FWD Philippines) tops the life insurance industry in terms of new business annual premium equivalent (NBAPE) on a singleton basis, according to the Insurance Commission’s (IC) 2026 Q1 Report.

FWD Philippines records a total NBAPE of Php 2.67 billion in the first quarter of 2026, a 4.9% increase versus the same period the previous year, resulting in its market share growing to 12.4% as of Q1 2026.

In addition to securing the number one rank, FWD Philippines also maintains its strong number one position in single premium and rises to number two in total premium, reflecting sustained momentum across key segments.
