It is held annually in Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the UAE, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. This is the second time CHI has received this prestigious award, the first time being in 2020 during the pandemic. CHI was able to quickly adapt to the lockdowns and offered wellness support to its employees.
This year’s awarding ceremony had around 250 entries from Philippine companies and CHI was chosen for its best HR practices, high level of employee engagement, and excellent workplace culture. The award was primarily based on an employee survey.
“We thank HR Asia for this prestigious recognition. As the human energy company, we at Chevron know that a safe, healthy, motivated workforce is the company’s best asset. This recognition inspires us to continue ensuring that Chevron remains one of the best workplaces in the country, through our unrelenting focus on employee well-being and experience. We are doubly inspired to strengthen and promote diversity, equity, and inclusivity in our workplace. We hope in turn, we can inspire other organizations who are on the same journey.” said Ethan Flowers, General Manager of Chevron Holdings Inc.
Last year, CHI was also chosen as the Grand Winner, Diversity Company of the Year by Asia CEO Awards 2022. It has been recognized for its proactive acceptance and respect for human differences including but not limited to race, religion, gender and identity.
