The event titled “Criselda: A Journey through Flower Fields” celebrated the fashion icon’s life and allowed participants and guests, including EastWest Priority clients, the chance to bid for coveted pieces from Lontok’s personal collection, each carrying its own allure and embodying her creative mastery.

This auction, which took place at Rustan’s Makati, offered a rare glimpse into her personal world and the opportunity for enthusiasts and collectors alike to own a piece of fashion history, including a full line-up of dresses and jewelry accumulated during her lifetime.

Fashion for a Cause
The auction was a follow-up to Criselda Retrospective Exhibit, in which after the exhibit’s run at the store, the pieces were put to the auction hosted by León Gallery.
Fashion experts and enthusiasts joined the event for a worthy cause, as Rustan’s honored the legacy of Lontok, indulging in a world of elegance and artistry, while contributing to a very meaningful goal.
Proceeds from the auction were announced to benefit ABS-CBN’s Bantay Bata 163 Foundation, Criselda’s favorite charity, underscoring Lontok’s and EastWest’s shared commitment to giving back to the community through social welfare and protecting disadvantaged and at-risk children, in the service of the Filipino.
Lontok’s son, John Fernandez, in his opening remarks, said “This is for a very good cause, for the chosen charity of my mother, which is the Bantay Bata 163. We hope that, of course, you will enjoy the creations in this collection. These are the things that I am very surprised to see in its most beautiful and elegant form.”
